Common Mode Choke
Shinenergy’s Common Mode Choke is the common mode choke, it could block the high-frequency noise common to two or more data or power lines, at the same time, allowing the desired DC or low-frequency signal to pass.
- Higher inductance value compared with the differential choke
- Block or suppress the high frequency signal
- Keep EMI radiation in a low level
- CE, UL certificated
Nanocrystalline Core has the Higher Efficiency
Shinenergy’s common choke cooperates with the nanocrystalline core, which is 8-10 times more effective than the ferromagnetic and ferrite core. It’s compact and has a higher frequency range of up to 20KHZ. Meanwhile, the EMI suppression function has also been increased when using the nanocrystalline core.
Toroid Style to Provide the Highest Impedance
Toroid-style common chokes are specially designed to provide the highest impedance within the broadest frequency range, in application that requires high DC current bias, toroid-style common chokes are the ideal option. They are most effective in filtering supply and return in-phase signals.

Q1: How to choose a common choke?
A1: There are three main criteria: required impedance, frequency range, and how much differential mode current must handle.
Q2: What kind of signal that common choke could suppress?
A2: Common chokes could block electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency current (RFI) signal from a power supply.
What are the advantages of Shinenergy’s Common Mode Choke?
Shinenergy’s common choke plays an important role in the electrical circuit, it could operate at much higher currents and has a higher inductance, with the toroid design, a common choke with an extensive frequency range and could handle lots of noise including high-frequency noises.
